7/1/2009- Notice to State Employees:
Due to budget and program cuts, the state eliminated the free bus pass program as of July 1, 2009. Cherriots will no longer honor the '09 sticker on the front of your photo ID card.
You may purchase a bus pass from Salem Keizer Transit (Cherriots), using a pre-tax deduction from your paycheck. The cost of the bus pass is $35 a month. To enroll, complete the transit pass application form and send it to your agency's payroll unit, who will purchase the pass directly from Cherriots. Your payroll unit will then distribute the pass to you monthly. The enrollment process can take up to six weeks. View Transit Pass application (pdf).

-Cherriots Downtown Information Office, 220 High St NE
